Stayed in the Desert Rose room. It was spacious, the shower was nice, and the private patio with the outdoor tub was beautiful. The tile part of the room held up really nicely, but the vinyl was bubbling a little bit. Room was otherwise cozy. Community area inside the gate was well kept, and the community tub was clean. Location was pretty central, everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. I would stay here again, but only if in this same room. The vacation I took was with two other people who stayed in other rooms. The Desert Rose is by far the nicest one, the most well kept, and the most modern/functional of the ones I got the chance to see.

Great experience and this may become a routine weekend getaway for us! Waterfall room was fantastic, it was great to be able to soak at our leisure privately. Checkin-checkout procedures are atypical so make sure you check your reservation for instructions. In easy walking distance of a pub, coffee shop, and restaurants. Great area to ride your bike. Will recommend to all our friends.

Just returned from the most amazing trip to TRC and the Fire Water Lodge Hot Springs Spa! Both the town of TRC and the lodge were an enchanting. The hot tubbing was fantasic. The rooms and grounds were clean and cozy. The vibe was super chill. I left relaxed and refreshed. I will be back!

Stayed in the 380 River Casita and it was absolutely perfect, beautiful views of the Rio Grande, the spring water was perfectly hot, the house was a perfect size, shower water was HOT, they had everything you might need, fans, a heater, robes etc, the WiFi wasn’t the best but it did work!! Overall had an amazing time! It was the perfect get away, we will definitely be back.

For my husband and myself, this destination is never anything short of a soothing, rejuvenating and romantic trip. We've been visiting the property for about 10 years now. It never fails, nice clean rooms, natural water tubs, privacy and the staff is always kind and friendly. They also have a beautiful court yard that we enjoy watching the stars from. A huge shout out to Tonya A. for ensuring our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

Classic resort, exceptionally clean, friendly owners and staff. Stayed in the Palm room, very spacious and great tub with shower. Food right next door, short block away from brewery. Beautiful courtyard, Boots the cat is very sweet and needy , greeted us every morning wanting treats

We went here to have a mineral tub in the room. It was perfect. The room was super cozy and charming. We had the waterfall room, we loved that it had the waterfall but we also would occasionally turn on the shower for temperature control (it was glorious). The tub was enormous and we liked the tile work. The AC worked well, toilet worked great, and the thick walls meant the room was relatively cool in general. We didn’t use the tv but there was one in the room. The bed was comfy. There is a black and white cat on the property (that per the staff isn’t the cat named Boots who lives there) that we hung out with. He was a cool cat. We didn’t hear anyone outside while in our room and the place was very low key. It had a great location- on the Main Street and next to a restaurant and across the street from a brewery. Before coming to T&C we were torn which hot springs hotel we wanted to go to. After going to this place - if we ever come back to town we are definitely staying here.

We have loved Firewater Lodge. For the past years, Firewater Lodge is the only place we would consider staying. The Lodge manager is always super helpful. However, this time smokers outside our room door diminished significantly our enjoyment. I get that smokers need to smoke. They should have their designated spot on the patio not by any room doors. As it stands now, the policy is that smokers can smoke anywhere on the patio site. We come for the hot baths, the fresh air, the sun. Walking through cigarette smoke is truly disheartening.
